The Barefoot Mailman and Florida’s Post Office Murals

Learn about West Palm Beach’s local history through its post office murals. Painted by Stevan Dohanos, these six murals feature James Edward “Ed” Hamilton, “Florida’s Barefoot Mail Carrier.” This presentation focuses on this exciting mural series, its subject, and how it fits into the Great Depression's larger mural project. Presented by Keri Watson, Associate Professor of Art History at the University of Central Florida.
