On April 8th, a total solar eclipse will occur across parts of the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Most of the US will be able see a partial eclipse.

Join Derek Demeter, astronomer and director of the Emil Buehler Planetarium at Seminole State College as we explore the science behind what makes eclipses happen and what to expect on the day of the eclipse.

Eclipse glasses will be distributed to attendees at the end of each program (maximum of 2 pairs of glasses per household). Offered in Partnership with the Emil Buehler Planetarium, Seminole State College of Florida.

Geared toward ages 8 to adult. No registration is required; this program is FREE.
